WHY HAVE A SPRAY TAN?

Spray tanning is safe for all ages and is a much safer option than exposure to harmful UVA/B and it's a lot easier than creams. Whether it's a night out, a birthday, a wedding, a pre holiday boost of colour before you hit the beach, or just because you want a tan. It only takes a few minutes to apply and your colour will develop fully over 6-8 hours leaving you with a very natural looking tan. If you apply moisturiser regularly your tan will last at least 5-7 days, and if you use tan extender cream or touch up spray your tan could last up to 9-10 days. 

We now have an express tan!!! This tan developes in 2-4 hrs depending on skin tone and can last about five days. So if you leave it until the last minute or cant get into the salon before the day of your event, you can still get your tan done!!

We use Sienna X spray tan solution, as do the Gladiators and the Strictly Come Dancing stars!! 

When you have a tan for the first time we will discuss the result you are looking for, there are different depths of colour so we will decide together which one is right for you. You decide what to wear, as much, or as little as you like. It's important that you feel comfortable, however, whatever you decide to wear whilst being sprayed should be dark in colour as the tan will mark your underwear etc (although it does wash off most fabrics). Disposable thongs are available if you prefer and we also use disposable hair and under-foot protectors.  You should wear loose dark clothing after you've been sprayed, tight clothing may rub off the tan before it has developed and this could cause patches, flip flops are a good idea too.

After your tan we will try our best to give you as much time as possible to get dressed so that you get a flawless tan,  We space our tanning appointments so that no-one will be rushed,  however, during busy times when we may have customers waiting to be sprayed, time will be more limited.

We have tan extender creams and touch up cans for sale too, these help to maintain your tan for longer.

WORRIED ABOUT TURNING ORANGE? This is a common problem and would put anyone off having a spray tan. Usually the reason for this is that the solution used contained too much DHA, then the developed colour is too dark for the skin tone of the client. This will be discussed with every client and the most suitable DHA% will be used. You will recieve a very natural looking tan. (unless you want to be very dark!!)

HOW ABOUT A TANNING PARTY, We all love to do things with our friends, so why not get together to get tanned. If you come for a tan and invite 5 other people you get tanned for free, (or you could share the discount with your friends). This service is only offered in the evening and  a glass of bubbly and nibbles will be included in the price.
